Accessibility
Our goal
Osmoq wants its online store to be usable by as many people as reasonably possible.
Our ongoing accessibility goal is to work toward the applicable principles of WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
This statement describes a goal and process. It should not be interpreted as a claim that every page or third-party service is fully conformant at all times.
What we consider
Our accessibility work may include:
- Keyboard navigation
- Visible focus indicators
- Clear heading structures
- Descriptive link labels
- Alternative text for meaningful images
- Sufficient text contrast
- Form labels and error messaging
- Meaningful button text
- Reasonable text resizing
- Captions or alternatives for meaningful video content where applicable
Product imagery
Product images are important when choosing lighting.
We aim to provide useful alternative text for meaningful images rather than repeating product titles or stuffing search keywords into alt attributes.
Decorative images should be treated appropriately so they do not create unnecessary screen-reader noise.
Third-party services
Some store functions may depend on third-party services, applications, payment processors, or embedded content.
We encourage our providers to support accessible experiences, but some elements may be outside our direct control.
